“Anything Can Happen In The WWF”

If you saw SportsCenter Monday night or Tuesday morning you probably noticed Shaquille O’neal appearing on Monday Night Raw.  Shaq did not wrestle, but he did send the Big Show to the ground and out of the ring with a huge shoulder block.  In case you didn’t know, the Big Show is a 7 footer weighing almost 500 pounds, and if you didn’t see it I will provide you with the clip.

For all the old school wrestling fans, if you watched the highlights on SportsCenter you probably caught Scott Van Pelt’s Kamala “the Ugandan Giant” reference.  From the picture you can see that Kamala is a strange looking guy with a painted face and painted man boobs.  If the man boobs are too much for you then you definately wouldn’t have been able to handle when I saw Kamala about five years ago at an event in a Boys & Girls Club in Garfield, New Jersey.  Kamala was about ten years out of his prime, but it looked like he was still sporting the same loin cloth wrestling trunks.  So when he sat down to sign autographs we got a sneak peak of the Ugandan Giant’s family jewels.  Not a pleasant sight.

Who would have thought that there would be yet another WWE sighting in the same SportsCenter episode.  What a pleasant surprise.  The sighting occured during the highlights of the Cubs- Astros game.  In a tie game in the bottom of the 13th, Alfonso Soriano walked it off with a grand slam.  As Soriano rounded the bases, “you couldn’t see him” because he motioned the John Cena “you can’t see me” most of his trot.  Soriano is a big fan of Cena, and has been using this celebration for quite all year.  Check out the video of when the two superstars met.
