Super Saints

The Saints pulled the upset over the Colts in the Super Bowl, winning their first championship in team history. Just when it looked like Peyton Manning was about to drive down the field and tie the game and probably force overtime, he did something people aren’t accustomed to, throwing the pick to Tracy Porter. From there, Porter housed it, taking the ball 74 yards in for the score to clinch the Lombardi Trophy.

Just like Manning, I became human over the last couple rounds of the playoffs. I started hot but cooled off in the end. Final stats from the playoffs, I finished 7-4 both picking winners and picking the spread. Deece, but I’m better than that. I’ll have to make up for it come baseball season. Pitchers and catchers in 10 days, but until then, its party time in the Big Easy.
