Larry David would kill to switch sands with MELO

So the Knicks said goodbye to three starters with the signing of Carmelo Anthony. Yes Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler (and you could even throw Timofey Mozgov on the list since Spike Lee has worn his jersey); all gone. So also gone are the days of Gallo cooking pasta dinners for the team or Mozgov bringing in vats of his famous borshch.

Sure they won’t be dining on linguini, fettuccini, or his specialty: Gallinari with meat sauce, and yes Anthony won’t be able to cook up a beet soup as tasty as Timmy, but with Melo’s arrival comes some favorite American fare.

Yes Carmelo was named after the Carmello candy bar, and yes that is a delicious treat, but Melo also has his own candy bar. The Melo Bar can be found HERE at the bottom of the #4 pick, the Michael Jackson chocolate bar; he he!

With his arrival to New York, Carmelo has also been given his very own sandwich at the famous Carnegie Deli. Pictured below, the Melo Sandwich includes Pastrami, Corned Beef, Salami, Bacon and Russian Dressing all sandwiched between two pieces of rye. A sandwich that would bring a tear to Larry David‘s eye. Welcome to New York Mr. Anthony.
